How to Log Service Points
Service is logged in three simple steps.
STEP 1:
Before you head out to serve others, print a copy of this Site Visit Verification Form and take it with you to the event in order to obtain a signature as proof of your service.
STEP 2:
Go to the "Time to Volunteer" website (x2vol.com) to enter in your hours/points. Remember, one hour of service converts to one service point in most cases. See the "What counts?" tab of the website to learn about situations in which points are denied or capped.
STEP 3:
After you have logged your points online, turn in the Site Visit Verification Form to the correct grade level binder in the AGS Office. If you would like to keep a copy of your service verification forms in order to use those hours for National Honor Society or other organizations, please make a copy prior to turning in your forms to the grade level binder. Site Visit Verification Forms become the property of AGS and are not returned.
What happens next? Each May, your team of teachers will review the hours you have claimed and the hours that have been verified in order to APPROVE service points. Any hours earned after May 1 will be rolled over to the following year's total. If you are a senior, ALL points must be entered by May 1 in order to count towards the ISSN graduation endorsement.

- Site Visit Verification Form- These forms should be filled out completely and signed by a supervisor of the event. Site Visit Verification Forms may not be signed by parents unless they are the official organizer of the event. Some community service organizations print their own forms or letters, and those are also acceptable forms of verification of service. If you volunteer with the same organization on an ongoing basis, see Mrs. Webster in Room 172 -- we can add organizations to our logging website so they have the capacity to verify your hours via email. If you believe your organization will not be able to verify via email (limited access to the internet, etc.), be sure to have a paper copy of the Site Visit Verification Form signed. AGS will accept either an electronic verification OR the signed site visit verification form as proof that service was completed.

- www.x2vol.com -- This is the online logging system for tracking service points. Freshmen will be guided through the system in order to set up a profile. If you miss that lesson, be sure to follow instructions when logging on to the system the first time. You'll be required to set up a profile. Here's a link to the instructions: Service Logging Orientation
