AGS Ambassadors

Picture
AGS Ambassadors and Austin High Link Crew Leaders Sonia Aguilar, Benny Romero, Angela Campbell, and Ellen Campbell greet Superintendent Paul Cruz and Principal Amy Taylor.  Dr. Cruz visited several signature programs in the district, and we were proud to showcase the Academy for Global Studies!

What is an AGS Ambassador?

The AGS Ambassador Program provides leadership opportunities for students who love to talk about their learning experiences!  Our Ambassadors represent the program and their peers by:
  • Recruiting at feeder middle schools
  • Representing the program at information nights like Maroon & White Night
  • Sharing experiences with AGS partners like local businesses and educational institutions
  • Greeting dignitaries and visitors and guiding them through campus/classroom tours
  • Acting as a spokesperson, role model, and leader of AGS

AMBASSADOR  SELECTION

Teaching teams recommend student leaders to be Academy Ambassadors. If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador during your 11th or 12th grade year, speak to your advisor or one of your prior AGS teachers.
