Mathumentary Films Screened
"Would you like to know what really goes into the perfect bracket?  Interested in how the growth of Facebook and the growth of a disease may be related?  What about the fascinating mathematics behind a sonic boom?  The AGS Pre-Calculus classes recently screened student-made "mathumentary" films that connect the mathematics discussed within the course with real-life events or destinations around the globe.  Take a peek at link below to see the films and the production team behind them!"

Math Classes Get Recognized
Using the "ShowMe" App, AGS math teachers William Kiker and Kelly Wroblewski had their Algebra 2 and Pre-Calc students create tutorials on math topics that were featured on the "ShowMe" App website.  Read the article, "Using ShowMe to Develop Student Created Math Tutorials," to find out how they are giving the Khan Academy a run for their money.
